The first snow of December had drifts of 8 feet high on either side of my drive way. I thought, here we go again, another tough winter in Southern New Hampshire. Since than, nothing. This weekend will hit 50 degrees and the last of the dirty snow will melt. I often ask my son to take a can of white spray paint and paint the dirty snow drifts. He looks at me like I am nuts.
So, I have started to load in Spring fabrics of bright florals, the new trend of the season. Hopefully, I can put the snowblower away.
I have 2 beautiful daughters and when they came to visit the first stop was to my store. See Mom is a lot cheaper than the 39.00 a yard at the local fabric store.
My Aunt taught both myself and my daughter to sew. She loved shopping for fabric in Boston. All I could think is how much my Aunt would have loved my store and lots of free fabric.
Merry Christmas and hug your family.
